Streaming by using WiFi, great way to keep your N900 in the charger all the time. And it actually gets pretty hot while doin' these both at the same time.

Probably (I haven't tested) one can use mplayer to stream, and put as a parameter a larger buffer. This could reduce the interruptions in the sound stream.
