Is there a bluetooth keyboard that works with n900 without any problem? In order to buy it and use in a simply way?

I don't understand the obsession with bluetooth (;

I have a [very generic] "Vuescape 2.4GHz wireless keyboard". I fished it out of the bargain bin at MicroCenter for $13
It's RF and comes with a small usb dongle.

I think I made out like a bandit. The last WIRED keyboard I bought was $30 (granted I specifically was looking for volume knob). I couldn't find any RF keyboards for less than $30 online either.

Anyway, with usb host cable and N810, it's just plug and play

Too bad there is no tv-out for N810 or I'd be set (also unfortunate that a mouse doesn't work reliably with it)

I have the 3 battery aluminium Apple one too, and the same symptoms (blue B on the N900 after seemingly successful pairing, but does not show up xkbtool --list). The funny thing is that ’hcitool con’ does show it as

ACL 00:1E:52:6E:xx:xx handle 11 state 1 lm MASTER AUTH ENCRYPT

but it won’t budge, even if I do hcitool auth 00:1E:52:6E:xx:xx (which goes through without errors) it is just not showing up as an input source. Duh.
