Since I have no programming skills I was wondering if anyone can come up with a program like this.... I submitted it to the nokia n8 app contest since I plan to get one of those too. (I'm a loyal Nokia user)

I know there are some apps out there that sync social media, merge duplicate contacts but it'd be nice to have an all in one solution. Saving contacts to multiple sources would be awesome also. I know some will say just bluetooth it over. However, what happens if you lose your phone? Have a zipped file of saved contacts emailed weekly (or daily) can be a life saver if you lose your phone.

Regarding saving contacts to the sim card... Even though it store very little info. Having a name and number is better than having nothing if your phone fries or you don't have a sd card. I find the contacts app lacking in the n900 and other nokia phones that I've owned. I want to be able to plug in my sim and memory card into my new or backup phone and be able to have all contacts merged and synced with one button from SIM/BACKUP/PHONE. I don't want to manually save contacts to the sim or vice versa.
