The fm transmitter is barely poweful enough for the army to pick up unless you sit next to them! The itrip my mate has for his iphoneis more powerful (i have to hang my arm out the car with the N900 to pick it up in his car, even with boost on).

So it is a viable option for thoses with sensitive radios like mine in my car.

This is already doable, you just have to be willing tohack such things. Qwerty12 figured out how and posted the appropriate stuff in another thread. You can find it by looking at my profile, going to the "find all posts Mentalist Traceur thanked" link, and looking at the posts I thanked qwerty12 in. (If bugged enough I'll post a link eventually if no one else bothers to. Just being lazy now.)
