Currently my project uses the bug tracker(s) from Maemo Garage. But the control file still links to the Maemo.org Bugtracker (where I did not yet ask for adding my project). I would like to have only one bug tracker so which one to use?

The Maemo Garage bug trackers are separate trackers for bugs and feature requests. If I add the link to the bug tracker as the XSBC-Bugtracker line of the control file I assume I get feature requests also which I have to move manually.

If I add ask for Maemo.org bugtracking I have to move all those entries manually to Garage (or I have to admin 2 bug trackers), right?

So what is the optimal way to manage issues for Maemo packages?

Thanks for your reply,

gilead

Bugzilla is better, IMHO, than GForge's bug tracker.

All bug trackers suck, IME, so find one that gives you the best features for you - and is most friendly to your users - and use that. If that's the one in Garage, good for you.

I ll say do not use bugs.maemo.org ... each time you want a new version added to the version list you must ask to admin ...

Thank you for your replies. I decided to go with the already existing Maemo trackers (and uploaded movie-schedule 0.2.1 for this).
