ive been use to android and still working out my fab n900 one thing i miss is the sky app which allowes me to remotely record on my sky hd box (sets timers etc) is there such an app available for the n900 ?? ive done some googling and drawn a blank so i thought i would ask the fab maemo community

why not set up a vote on the applications forum? if enough people vote for the app it stands a chance of being developed.
Alternatively, meego (the next version of maemo due out in a few months) may have the sky+ app. may be worth swinging by the meego site and asking the question on that forum.

There is an app called Showtime thats has built in tv guide and you can use it to record Sky programes on your + box but it uses the txt service. Could be worth a look if its important to you.
I have used the webbased manager on the N900 and its not that painfull and works. Remember you need to swipe from the left hand side of the browser screen to get a curser which works better.
