I just read the wiki and I can honestly say I'm a bit scared to do this. I don't have any real experience doing these kind of things, and I'm afraid something's going to go wrong.

My friend.. There is nothing to be afraid of. It is perfectly normal to reflash your device. Even if you done it wrong, it won't work anyway, you have to do it right then the flashing will start. Your N900 will never die from flashing

That is the beauty of this device. Whether there is a power cut during your flashing or whatever worst, earthquake, fire, storm or anything as long it can still turn on then you can still reflashing it over and over, again..and again.. again..N900 changes everything again.. and again.

I just tried it out and it works. Thanks!

But the problem still exists.

When I tried calling myself, the screen doesn't light up to show who's calling me at all!

Will I have to send it back in?
Sending it to Nokia caused more problems for me than I had before... Do you guys think I'll have to pay for shipping and handling again, even though I didn't cause these problems?

Does anyone know if this will work?

RX-51_2009SE_1.2009.42-11.002_PR_COMBINED_002_ARM.bin
OS 2009 version 1.2009.42-11
Maemo 5 USA variant for Nokia N900

I used this before;
RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.19-1.002_PR_COMBINED_002_ARM.bin
PR 1.2 version 10.2010.19-1
Latest Maemo 5 USA release for Nokia N900

or maybe I should try using Global?

I really don't know what I should do to fix these problems...
