Hi Guys,

Whenever I open the default N900 Notes app, it opens and shows some text I entered the first time I used the app. A few seconds later, it opens the last note file I worked on.

The initial text is bugging me as its confidential info and I can't even remove it. Its extremely anoying. I tried doing a

Code:
grep -r 'part of text' /
as root, to search for any files containing a partial string of the information to try and see if its a template that it opens or something. Nothing came up.

If I can't find this file, how can i remove the notes app altogether?

Thank you in advance

Some applications make a screenshot and shows this while the
application starts. This screenshots are saved in
/home/user/.cache/launch/

For the notes application, you can delete this file:
/home/user/.cache/launch/com.nokia.osso_notes.pvr

Awesomeness! Now I know why I couldn't find it using a text search.

Also searching for any variations of n900 notes mostly brought me to alternative notes apps, so I was going mad trying to find this.

Is this info in the wiki? If so, I missed it.

Thank you!
