Sure, just plug it into your computer and the 770 will appear as a USB mass storage device.

I have a problem when doing that -- I get the message that my internal card is busy, thus can't be mounted (shouldn't be true, I'm booting off MMC and my swap etc is somewhere else, but anyways). However, the internal card goes and unmounts itself anyway and then doesn't remount when I unplug the N800 from my Mac again. I can remount the card manually from a command line, but this is a pain....... The external card behaves exactly as expected.

Does anyone have any idea why this could be the case? Any help would be much appreciated.

Kind regards

The internal memory of the 770 isn't accessible through USB...you will need the MMC in place to transfer things from the PC to the 770

The 770 unfortunately only supports USB 1.1 transfer rate.
I know, this is really annoying. Data transfer per FTP or SFTP is a lot faster. Search this forum for how to setup FTP or SFTP (SSH).
