Hi,
Not sure where to ask this, but I'm looking for a widget that would allow you to save a small thumbnail picture on the desktop the size of a saved webpage and that would also act as a shortcut to pictures folder. Can this be done?
Thanks for any help.

There's a couple of applicatins in the repos that might fit the bill.
One called Desktop Photo applet, but the name of the other escapes me at present.
Desktop Photo applet shows a slideshow of all images in a particular folder.
