on an old nokia i had years ago you could take a video or audio clip from phone memory, set a start point, end point & trim it. you could evev combine audio over video.

is there anything like this for n900?

i know there is online stuff that can do it quick but was looking for offline use too.

atm stuff like that is only possible in easy debian. use search, there are threads on it already.

FFMpeg is capable of trimming videos and audio. It's possible to make a GUI, but that's another case. However, it's easy to make simple scripts for these tasks. You can search up on how to use ffmpeg somewhere. (I have used it, and it's all alright, i tell you. )

true, ffmpeg can do it on the CLI
