I am resubmitting this with the proper info...

For some reason I cannot connect to my n800 via scp. I am using winscp. The connection is made, I get asked for the password (which I have never had to do before) over and over, and finally it just won't connect. I did get a connection for about 30 seconds, but then it died. I have upgraded to the latest version of the OS, and installed openssh using apt-get install ssh. I uninstalled and reinstalled.

Any ideas? Anyone else experiencing this problem? I should note that I am sharing the connection via my wife's G4 iBook, and everything else network related seems to work just fine.

I had this problem with the earlier version, but haven't tried with the most recent.

Incoming network connections to the N800 just seem really flaky to me, and the CPU intensive nature of SSH can't help.

I use dropbear as ssh-server, and logging in remotely to my N800 works very well. It's as smooth an experience as logging in to my linux laptop. Dropbear doesn't have scp though, so I just copy files through an ssh pipe instead.
