Any alternative terminals I can install on my n900 (alternative to the stock xterm)? If not, is there a way to edit the layout of the xterm to reclaim screen real estate?

I want to do some text-based gaming and losing the bottom bar area to the ctrl, tab, esc, PgUp, PgDn buttons really eats up my available space.

To get rid of the keybar, FULL full screen:

Code:
gconftool-2 -s /apps/osso/xterm/toolbar -t bool "false"
To get it back press F4 (you will need to remap your keyboard to get F4)

mrxvt will allow you to use full 80x25, just search the Applications subforum for link and config file. Useful for .desktop files to launch console programs. Configurable copy/paste/fullscreen and more.
