i have windows XP and a DFI NF4 ultra lan party mobo

i use USB keyboard and mouse .... also have other USB stuff that work without issue.

i plug 770 into USB port .. then power on

i see the USB symbol on 770 boot .... then i briefly see the
'new USB hardware install symbol pop up on toolbar in windows.

then it disappears and i don't seen any connection in folders.

770 saids it's connected ... but update software says 'can't find'

i've tried connecting 770 to laptop and it works fine.

stuff i should try to trouble shoot the problem with this particular PC?

thanks for you time.

Are you trying to flash the firmware or just access the storage card?
If you're just trying to use its storage card, the drivers are built into windows itself. I just plugged mine into my PC for the first time, it autodetected the drivers and automounted the storage card.
Is the 770 running in Host mode? Have you made any changes to the 770?

just trying to access memory card ..... i have made no changes to 770. It's fresh out of box.

btw - i tried connecting it to my secondary computer and that also works fine.

it just won't connect to my main computer.

could overclocking be messing it up?
