Alright, I have a nokia 770 (obviously) running OS 2006. I followed these instructions: http://tabletblog.com/2006/01/usb-power-injector-2.html , and I have tested the following things so i know they are not part of the problem:

a.) the 7805 regulator is delivering 5.03 volts to both of the female usb ports
b.) there is continuity over the data lines between the two ports
c.) my device is in host mode

Problems: when i connect the nokia to rig, it recognizes it and says that it is connected via usb, however, if i plug a keyboard into the rig, none of the lights come on and it is not recognized by the nokia. I then tested plugging other usb devices (thumb drive, mouse) into the usb ports ( just to see if i could at least get them to light up) and they dont seem to be working either.

I am relatively new to hardware hacking/moding, so any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you used the otg_mode change to get into host mode, that may be your problem. I tried that and had no luck. But when I tried the method that uses flasher, it worked perfectly on the first try.
