Well, it seems like the base for Ubuntu Touch is just a fork of CyanogenMod 10.1, which means it might require similar procedures as getting NitDroid on N9(00).
I am not happy with this decision as I think it won't help FOSS in any way, just saying..

It doesn't even use XServer or Wayland, but Android's display server instead:

To me, it is a disappointment, but I guess it works for Ubuntu as it simplifies porting.

Yeah, Ubuntu Touch can go ahead and die.
