Got it in the mail, it's pretty loose fitting, and it won't close properly, all in all: I wouldn't recommend it, but if this or bust, I'll take it.

i have always lusted after the Nokia CP-408 case, because i prefer cases allowing use of device in situ.

Sadly, seems this case can't be sourced (easily) at this time

That's too bad man...shame about the case fitting...

I want to feel , see, and be able to EXACTLY measure the new dimensions ...
From the get go I've been working on a hard case detail carved out of elk antler...

(one of my fav. mediums...
I've been doing all kinds of stuff in elk deer and moose for more than 30yrs now..you name the geegaw and I've made it..done some pretty cool work too.
18th c. iron flanged mace hafts, late 18th early 19th c. cane sword handles, antique Damascus sword and knife handles, all ornately carved up...actually I have a 16th century scottish cleaver in beautiful shape I'm working on a handle for ..at the moment....anyway back to what I was gettin at )

......it was for my n900....
but when the neo came into the picture...I halted work until I had one in my hand so it could be measured for an exacting fit into the antler casing I've been working on...then carve 'er all up pretty and nice and all.
I love the wallet style for one of my n800's (a pdair) and the same for one of my n810's (boxwave) ...and want one for at least my trusty n900 if not for my neo900...but I also like the idea of an exquisite hard case.
Anyway..'nuff of all that....1st things 1st...and wait for my wallet to arrive ....

Many Many Many Months later...

I've almost finished my own carved and ornamented book style case...and a forearm mount as well (just waiting for mah neo so I can do the last measuring fit )....out of elk and moose respectively. Good thing too.

ALL THE WHILE I attempted correspondence with the truculent and non-communicative piece of bat-guano that is the `trade2w.com` people all with no result and no product in hand.
The only thing I did receive to my multiple queries via multiple means was `sent message failed` from postmasters...very infuriating.

A small piddling amount of money to risk to prove these people should be avoided at all costs and accounted scoundrels, rogues, na-er-do-wells, and in general ....and should be considered miserable fraudulent P.O.S. to be wary of and not throw ones pennies at.

A heedful warning to all regardless whether you wish a n900 case or any other device line case of any kind from these people.

Tentative experiment to determine the genuine or non-genuine nature of this potential goods seller can be declared ...a failure.
They are indeed not genuine.

Alternate suggestions specifically for the n900 that ARE legitimate would be the OFFICIAL pdair metal or leather n900 cases ...and boxwave`s aluminum models ...both of which are in good supply both directly from their respective websites or ebay at reasonable prices.
I can attest to both the quality and durability of both of the company`s leather and aluminum cases...I have their leather and aluminum case models and they STILL look good and serve me well many years later.
