Doing a similar benchmark of this "How fast is your SD card?" topic which was about Jolla 1 smartphone, but now about the Jolla Tablet.

To run 'hdparm', either download the sources from http://sourceforge.net/projects/hdparm/ and compile yourself on Jolla Tablet after installing 'make' :
$ pkcon install make
then run inside the hdparm source-code folder :
hdparm-9.50$ make
Or download this precompiled hdparm for Sailfish Tablet.

My tests :
- internal flash memory :
Code:
$ ./hdparm -t --direct /dev/mmcblk0
/dev/mmcblk0:
 Timing O_DIRECT disk reads: 290 MB in  3.01 seconds =  96.47 MB/sec
- microSD card 64GB SanDisk Extreme U3 Micro SDXC, rated at read 60MB/s, write 40MB/s (real is read 71,5MB/s; write 52,5MB/s with USB3 reader on a notebook) :
Code:
$ ./hdparm -t --direct /dev/mmcblk1

/dev/mmcblk1:
 Timing O_DIRECT disk reads:  70 MB in  3.02 seconds =  23.21 MB/sec

Many SD cards and USB memory sticks I tested in the past exhibited a proportionally decreasing performance as they got fuller. It might be interesting to do a similiar benchmark on Jolla devices. One day I may even get to it...

Nice suggestion. Next weekend I will compare different microSD cards, different FS (ext4, FAT32), after being formated.

Comparing with my Jolla C, it seems faster than Jolla Tablet :
$ ./hdparm -t --direct /dev/mmcblk0 : 108.12 MB/s
$ ./hdparm -t --direct /dev/mmcblk1 : 36.56 MB/s (microSD 32GB Transcend Micro SDHC UHS-1, 60-80MB/s read).
