OK so I recommend highly that every use the cute kickstand when placing their N8*0 down on the table. The back of my battery door is scuffed up now. I'm going to have to put some wide-width transparent tape over it to protect the metal parts..and provide for a non-slip surface.

Anyone experience this?

well one option thats a bit involved , i did to the faceplate on my N800... i took it off stripped it down to bare metal and powdercoated it using a Craftsman home powdercoating gun.... you spray it on and bak it in your oven at 400 degrees for like 20 mins... theres a huge assortment of colors. as soon as i can find out how to take the front faceplate off the 810 im powdercoting the front and back both black.

but you could do the backplate no problem in the meantime
