Now, when I push the power button while the unit's on, nothing happens. I've tried keeping the power button depressed for a short period of time, & I've tried pushing it multiple times. I just can't turn it off. It's not a huge deal, since it just goes to sleep after a minute or two, but I'd prefer to have more control. What can I say, I'm a control freak.
It used to work just fine, so...Did I inadvertently change some power button settings, or something? How do I fix this (the right way, not some wacked way like taking the battery out)? Am I just not doing something right? The power button IS supposed to turn the unit on/off, right?
