Sometimes upon resume from either the display totally off or backlight off, the screen is significantly darker and appears to only display <256 colors.
For example:
Default Echo theme has a semi transparent bar on the left where the background shows through. Sometimes on resume, the transparency is barely there.
If I chose background and try to change the color only 7 prechosen squares have colors; the others are black. I can use the gradient however to chose anything in the spectrum.
When I power off the Nokia with the display stuck dark, the nokia logo is black, not blue.

This happens occasionally - possibly more frequent when under battery only. If I let the display turn off/on several repetitions, it typically returns to normal.

Have flashed it once only once with latest 08OS. No other apps loaded. Both SD slots have freebie generic cards in them.
Is she gonna become a brick soon?

My 770 started to act similarly a month ago. I took it to Nokia service center and they replaced the display module with a new one. So it was a hardware problem.
