Suddenly I can't connect to either of my WAPs. Bluetooth internet is OK.
If I disable security or use WEP, it connects. but with WPA, after a long delay I get:
"Network connection error. Try again?"
No DHCP or other packets appear on the LAN.

I've only recently reflashed to Diablo, and installed a bunch of apps. But the wifi was still working. I looked in /var/log but it was empty. Is that normal? Filesystem is not full.

[more mucking about. Reset router. delete all saved connections. reboot again. sacrifice chicken ...]

NOW I can connect to the Netgear router again, but the Apple Airport-express doesn't even show on the list. (My laptop sees the Aiport OK.) Reboot Nokia - still doesn't see the Airport. Nor do I see some of the neighbours WAPs that show up on the laptop.

Any suggestions as to what might be causing this, or how to fix it please?

Good idea, thanks. That might clear any bad cached data or settings associated with the name. (Even though I already 'deleted' the old settings.)

Arrgh! Now my email has stopped working. Just like the old mail client did with gmail, it fails to appear on screen when launched. "killall modest" fixed it for now. Anyway, its looking like i might need to reflash. Would like to know how to avoid these problems from happening again.
