I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH my second pc wireless internet is not working my primary pc is fine How do i go about pinging 2 see if i am receiving the signal Pls advice thank you

Open a terminal and type 'sudo ping [ip address], using the IP address of the computer you want to reach. If you're using a Windows box, omit the 'sudo'.

Punctuation makes your posts easier to read and understand.

Newbie here.
I type sudo ping command but it is asking for a password. What password??

IIRC the built-in ping is hard to make work at all. But try
Code:
sudo gainroot
ping host.example
