Someone let me know if this problem is just me, or if others are having the same issue. Oh, and I searched for similar problems before posting this and couldn't find much of anything, so don't give me a hard time for not using the search feature (which I know some of you are more than eager to do.)

I recently received my n800 (which I love) and almost immediately flashed the beta OS2008 onto it. Almost everything has been working flawlessly (aside from the button lock-up problem) and has been very speedy. I just tried getting Maemo Mapper and the built-in Maps application working with my bluetooth GPS receiver however and have had nothing but problems. Both the OS2008 GPS setup and the Maemo Mapper GPS setting can find and pair with the Bluetooth GPS unit, but shortly after connecting, the GPS disconnects, then reconnects, then disconnects, then fails. I have a Holux GR-230 Bluetooth GPS and I've tried it as a "trusted" connection, an "un-trusted" connection, not pairing it with the n800 before loading Maemo Mapper, pairing it before loading Maemo Mapper... all with the same result.

Now here's the kicker... I just flashed back to OS2007 and it works perfectly. No issues whatsoever. Anyone have any suggestions on what to try?

Thanks a bunch people, this forum has been incredibly informative and helpful in the past and I'm sure someone will help...

Here's a 5 month bump.

I'm also getting this same problem on Holux 240.
