Hello, I have searched some in these forums and on the web trying to find an answer to this, please forgive me and just throw me a link to anything that answers my question...

I have a Yamaha receiver and plan to get the YBA-10 Bluetooth adapter for it. The specification states: Ver. 2.0+EDR Support A2DP/AVRCP profile.

I am looking at purchasing the N810 as a Rhapsody player and would like to find a way to pair it up to the YBA-10.

Some of the posts I have searched through here have stated success with A2DP profile connections, but with a little work. I'm up for the challenge if it works without any signal drop outs on the stereo.

Anyone have a similar setup, or have experience with this that they can tell me i'm on the right track?

All other options for Rhapsody in my living room seem expensive/not portable. This is the best as it offers so much more than just the media player part.

Thanks for any ideas.

Yeah the a2dp support has been imporved. Now it works well. But the problem for your case is that a2dp is not supported system wise. It only works via the mplayer. I am not sure if rhapsody uses the built in media player or its own player.... but i am sure it does not use the mplayer by default. That may be the show stopper for you.
But since fremantle supports a2dp system wide i expect that to come soon in mer.

If you just need a Rhapsody solution for the living room, take a look at the following two devices, both of which would be easier to use for primarily Rhapsody use than the N8xx. I have all of these, plus a Sonos system, so I have access to Rhapsody no matter where I happen to be.

First is the Logitech Squeezebox Boom. It has built-in stereo speakers, but it also has line-in and line-out jacks for more flexibility, plus it has a remote control and supports wired or wireless networks.

Next is the ibiza Rhapsody MP3 player from Haier. It is about the same size as an iPod classic, plus it has the ability to let you download and save songs from Rhapsody with any wireless network.

Thanks for the suggestions on alternatives.

I started out with a Logitech Wireless DJ, which has always suffered severe drop outs of music no matter the distance to my media server. Recently this has prompted me to look for an alternative.

What I really want is Rhapsody catalog, Media Player library, in the palm of my hand that plays on my stereo for ~ $200US.

I like that the Nokia has a slew of other features allowing us to take it on the road making it a mobile PC replacement as well.
