So, with all the PIMs, the simple things like pilot-link software, etc., I'd like one simple thing:

The ability to hotsync my Treo to my Tablet.

Linux can hotsync to a Palm. It can even do so over Bluetooth, but it seems that my Treo 650 won't see it as a valid device for connection purposes. Oh, I can dial out from the Treo to get the 770 online, but I can't establish a PPP link to the 770 for Hotsyncing.

Has anyone tried this level of insanity before, and if so, how did you pull it off?

(If not, how *would* I pull this off?)

Seeing as my work-issue Blackberry and my personal Treo are tied into Exchange (BES on one, Palm's weakened version of ActiveSync on the other,) I'm one short step away from including the 770 in the mix, at which point it will rapidly jump from a neat toy with internet access to an emergency lifeline, with contacts, appointments, and a damned good browser in one nearly pocket-sized package.
