ssh in to the device and cd to /usr/share/applications/hildon
There find the icon you want to delete and delete it.... for example if you want to delete maemo-mapper.desktop type:

rm maemo-mapper.desktop

and it will remove the icon.

Ah. Thanks!
I looked into /etc/others-menu
Found that path in another thread on this board. Maby that was too old an that path only worked with IT 2005.

I think I have to be root to rm the files. I downloaded becomeroot with the application manager, but I can't figure out how to solve this problem.
If I don't get it I have to do it via ssh when I'm at home.

The last time I enabled root mode via the flasher was with IT 2005. I hope it hasn't changed to much
Have to read the wiki. Maybe I firgure out how this "becomeroot" works

EDIT

I just had to type sudo su - with the packade installed
I thought I had to do something with the package first .
Thats really pretty easy

Thanks again for your help!
