I wear my headset throughout most of the day listening to music our talking on Skype. When someone in the room starts talking to me it would be great to leave my headset on, hit one button or icon and then hear that person through the built-in microphone. Of course, this option could be added to the music player, but it would be better if a separate app could switch in the microphone regardless of what you are listening to.

i would really love that functionality. i think it would make it possible to use the tablet as a headphone practice amp, by connecting an instrument cable jack to the microphone input wire. i've already seen a special hardware adapter for this available somewhere. i mentioned something along those lines to the developer of seqretary recorder, whose sensitivity adjuster would be a great combination with this app.
