The facebook widget adds the plugin for uploading photos to Facebook directly from the gallery, my question is if this plug-in includes the option to Create a new Album and/or ability to select existing albums in which your photos will be uploaded.

If yes then thumbs up. If not please add this function immediately. Uploading photos in un-organized masses means nothing to me and makes the plugin along with the upload function practically worthless.

Same applies for Share on Ovi and Flickr.

at the moment, the facebook sharing plugin only allows editing the image size. no other options are available.

ovi share on the n900 has the ability to choose which album to upload to, but creating albums is not possible.

I see... So those S60 "child diseases" are visible in Maemo as well...

Again Uploading photos in un-organized masses means nothing to me and to most of the people, something that practically makes the plugin along with the upload function WORTHLESS and USELESS.

Nokia/Maemo community please fix this above issue immediately.

I'll get right on that. Wait. No i won't--i don't even use Facebook. Maybe someone who really really wants the feature should look into doing it?

I nominate nMIK-3.

Classic example of arbitrary Nokia decision making. Couldn't just fallback to the no brainer of tagging with lat/lon if network isn't accessible, could you Nokia?

Umm, talk to Nokia, the plugin is one of the official apps.

This is why I am posting it here.
This forum is supposed to be watched by them.

Not necessarily. Some people from Nokia do post here, but they don't necessarily read every thread.

Yes of course, but if I am not mistaken there is no other way to get in touch with Nokia, regarding such issues, instead of their forums or direct email to the development team.

I think filing bugs/enhancement requests is the right way to contact them:
https://bugs.maemo.org/enter_bug.cgi

See also https://bugs.maemo.org/page.cgi?id=bug-writing.html

This particular case would likely be an enhancement request (severity: enhancement) on the facebook widget.

Yes but the above issue is not a bug.
Is a missing feature.

I will forward this issue to one of Maemo executive here in the US once I speak with him some time next week.
