i cant play bbciplayer smoothly the audio is fine can anyone else play it smooth

Nope, it has too big resolution / bit rate for N900 to handle with something as unoptimized as Flash.
I'm pretty sure there is some kind of project that's being worked on to bring iPlayer on Maemo
