Am I loosing my mind? I was sure that there was an installer for GPXViewer for the N900, but now I can't find it anywhere (and I have used the searching tools). Am I totally missing it, or was there a notice that it was going to be removed, or something else. Any info would be great, as I am longing to use it with the phone.

Thanks, Thor

Check If you can find GPXView on installed applications.
It should be visible in remove part of application manager.

Yes, it still exists in the UNSTABLE extras-testing repository which is not added/available by default in the Application Manager as applications might make your device unusable and need more testing (hence its name).
If you like living on the edge, you can enable it, at your own risk.

Argh. I now realize that you had installed it already. Ignore my last posting then. :-/

Actually, Andre, I have not yet installed it. I am going to wait for it to become stable, but I guess I thought it had. I can be patient, as my phone is running well, and I want to keep it that way -- for the time being.

Thanks, Thor[

The version in maemo5 testing is as stable/unstable as the version in diablo/chinook extras as they all compile from the same code and are always released simultaneously.

In fact only one positive review is currently missing to get GPXView into extras. So if you decide to risk using the unstable version you might very well review it at http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...pxview/0.8.14/. Thanks!

Edit: Ok, it got it 10th review and is now in extras.
