I have searched through the forum and I couldnt find answers to my questions, so her I go. I live in the UK and I made up my mind to buy the US version of N900.The problem is I dont know how it will function here.So if anyone of you who lives in the UK and has an US model can you please point me to the right direction.

Issues

1) Network: Will it work on UK networks especailly the 3UK sims?

2) Charging: Is there any difference in the hardware when it comes to charging the phone. I understand both these countries have different voltage supply and I dont want the phone to fry up

3) WIFI: are there any issues regarding this? frequency?channels?

4) Firmware : Is there any difference between the US and the UK firmwares.

I never bough a phone from overseas but i think I just got the perfect deal here. So please help me out

It should work as long it supports the same frequency, and to my knowledge it should...You might need a different pin head or an adaptor, as it may not fit into a uk socket..every other thing should be fine.

i also have a question as most do on the n900, i want to purchase it mainly as a pc, and i really want to be able to webcam, ill be mainly in the milwaukee-chicago-st louis area, also was curious if ATT will be intigrating 3g to the n900 anytime soon? and how well will webcam be working on this device since i know skype dont work or doesnt yet, but i hear other programs do such as Fring..any help?!

It's not really something ATT can do (short of changing their network so they use a world standard for 3G instead of their own standard). Unless Nokia sells another version of the N900 that can use ATT's 3G bands there's simply no way to do it.

aMSN already uses the front webcam but it's a bit buggy.
