I tried searching through the forums, but I couldn't find anything. How is it possible to customize/mod the lock spring button on the side? I would like to make the button change profiles between regular and silent instead of lock/unlock.

I have thought about this before and looked a little bit into it. The idea was to set the lock button to do nothing, then supposely you can monitor dbus for powerbutton action. Power button has its own name, which I forget now. I think it's do-able, shortcutd might be a good start for the implementation. At least that's what I referenced.

Edit: Hold on, I got mixed up so you want to use the lock slider. Hummm... you definitely can listen to lock slider action on dbus, but I don't know where the connection to screen lock is implemented. If it's not configurable and hard-coded in binary it will be a hassle.
