Can someone give me the link to get the latest update on Firefox, Fennec, or even microB that people talk about??

I am not getting the constant update of Firefox that i normally get before the firmware update. What is the address that you put into the repository in App Mananger?

http://www.mozilla.com/m/

Hit the download link on that page and it should add the Firefox repo back in.

No that's not the lastest. I believe the latest say something about RC1 or RC2.

Even if you have the old version there should be a flashing icon on ur status menu to update to the newest one. but if it's ur first time then that is the most updated one.

Don't think it's RC2 or the latest...because i remember before the firmware update...i notice it's a fine using firefox but now it's not any better. Maybe the new firmware ain't as good as people say it is. I still see checker board when loading...pretty disappointed.

Okay I found this thread by chance since I was wondering the same thing. Under application manager it says 1.0 but just to be sure I uninstalled and reinstalled it.

I notice the installation size is now 6.5 mb when I could have sworn initially the installation was 13mb. I also noticed after uninstalling it and then reinstalling it the plugins and history remained.

This leads me to my first question- is there some kind of maitenance program for maemo 4 like there is on windows- something like ccleaner for temp files and revouninstaller for programs? Or do I have to manually clean directories via terminal?

Also fennec + adblockplus is awesome. It def makes the browser much faster- but I do notice checkerboarding like the original poster said.

For the life of me I can't figure out how to use ctrl f or how to open links in new tabs or how to highlight things...

<_<

It's awfully quiet here.

Actually firefox updated itself this week to rc3. The problem is it seems to have broken flash. I know I could use mytube for youtube but if I click get plugin the linux version of flash won't work right? I remember somebody asking the same question a while back because they wanted flash 10- but I just want flash to work in fennec again. I feel like I'm on an iPhone now : /

Plugins were disabled in RC3 due to poor performance (see release notes). There is a way to re-enable, although I did not look into it yet.
