Good point about the camera videos. I assume they are in mjpeg format.
You should be able to convert them with media converter for offline viewing, but that's not very nice for on the road checking.

replace 93-01.avi with the name of your video to test the decoding speed: mplayer /media/mmc1/93-01.avi -benchmark -nosound -endpos 10 to play the video only: mplayer /media/mmc1/93-01.avi -nosound
