hi i want to clear all entries in my calendar but it looks like the only way to do this is - manually ...
is there any other way to delete all entries in the calendar?

The easiest way is to open the Calendar, then go into the Setting menu. Select to edit the calendars, then select the one you want to clear. From the edit dialogue, choose "Delete". If it's an in-built calendar it should offer to delete all entries instead, otherwise it'll delete the calendar and you can create a new, empty, one.
