Hi, are there any way to select multiple packages and install them all at once like when using a desktop package manager? It is kinda tedious to have to have to wait 5-10 sec for the manager to refresh and being able to select another package for install....

Not currently, no. This is (apparently) faster in PR1.2 though. See also: http://maemo.org/community/brainstor...ll_basket-002/
