hi all,

since a few days I receive spam (about women, gambling. ...) via skype text chat. I haven't had that since I bought my n900 in januari. Skype is installed since then.

I do not have this problem on my computer.

I tried to find the settings of the skype chat service on my phone but was unable to find it.

thanks for your advice or help.

I received a few of those myself. It's happening on computers too, at least for me. I spend most of my day near a computer, so most of time I'm logged on skype from it.
You probably just use skype much more on N900, so chances are bigger you'll receive it there.

I'm getting also skype spam and it's getting worse day by day. Has anybody solved it?
