which do u think is better???
currently im using flickr, but I had enough with the 100MB limit per month for free users, and I dont have extra bucks to play with atm.

so,will picasa serve me better in this case???
does it also supports geotagged images???

thanks,

Picasa does support geotagged images. In the uploader plugin, select options and allow geotagging information to be sent.

I think Flickr is the best option - the $25per year is reasonable fee for the added features and keeps the free 100mb limit free. My view of google is they have too much on me as it is, my relation to google remind me of my relation towards Microsoft in 1995, in hindsight I have contributed to a monopolistic type relationship where I am financially locked in.

I use Flickr because it brings a lot more exposure than Picasa Web.

If you only aim at sharing pictures with family and friends (full albums), then go for Picasa. It's great for say, people who shoot a whole lot of pictures, as the format is adapter for it (for example, one album per night out).

Flickr is more for people who regularly take pictures, say an average of 5 a day. The photostream is adapted for such a scenario.

Being able to share specific pictures in pools around specific categories in Flickr also enables, as I said to begin with, greater "exposure" if you think your pictures are worth sharing (that is, pictures with specific qualities to them. Your buddies drinking or jumping in the pool rarely has anything worth sharing except for the people who were at that specific evening).
