hi all

recently my n900 has been failing to inform me of new texts or email, no vibrate or flashing led, it was intermittent at first but now seems to be most of the time. my phone is always on silent so this is really bugging me. the only thought i've had is it may be related to the pelota world cup widget - i have to disable the widget if i go for a sleep after work during a game, then re enable it when i get up. but tinkering with it doesn't seem to help so i'm probably wrong.

anyone had this problem or know of any possible soltions?
