Hi there,

I run into a small problem with my N900 that the screen turnoff time is not working for me any longer. E.g. I set it to 10 seconds but I can wait until my battery runs dead. Switching the time to other values does not help either.

On the other hand when I have to unlock my screen it will turn off automatically when I do nothing...

So my question is: How can I find out what processes is blocking screen turnoff when I have unlocked my desktop?

Any help is very appreciated!

Cheers,

Have you installed Simple Brightness Applet ?

Because in this app there is an option "Keep display on"

Nope... just a bunch of emus and a few games. My guess is that somehow when I played a flash video (which keeps the screen turned on while playing) did not reset some configuration variable when I shut down the browser. Could this be the reason?
