Is it possible to disable the desktop menu shortcut on boot up.

By this I mean that when you tap on a desktop screen the icon won't appear that allows you to change the look of your desktop.

My son often plays Angry birds or sketch, but when i get the phone back I find he's also re-arranged half of my screens, things go missing etc... If I could disable this on boot up it would be great.

I think the modified hildon desktop has the possibility to disable this shortcut/menu.
