A friend of mine has been developing a dos program wich can be used to easily flash the kernel of the n900 to overclock it or to install the stock kernel.

The program can be downloaded here directly:

http://www.eurosc.nl/n900/flasher.zip

Just unpack this zip file in c:/N900 and run flash.exe
Make your choice (1 to 9) and hit the "Y" button to start the flash

Option 9 needs a manually download for the official PR1.1.1 release from nokia. (this is not included in the package due to different versions in different countries)

I hope this will be very useful for the users that have little knowledge of how to flash the kernel

The maker just contacted me that the program now has a warning inside about the waranty and the damage that can be done by using the program.

I will also request if he can make an english version. for a bigger audience

how to check version for kernel or something like that to make sure that we have the lattest, sorry but i am not much know about linux
