guys is my top run normally? or not? can anyone teach me how to kill some process of my top?!.. thanks

you cant kill a process from top. What you can do is open a new x-terminal and if you have rootsh installed type
sudo gainroot
killall (name of the process)
e.g killall browserd

and yes. it looks pretty normal to me

what happens when you press "k" when viewing top?

That doesn't work in the busybox version of top.

Strange. Works for me but doubtless I have some or other mod long forgotten. Run under sudo.

Neither running top in normal user mode nor running it as root for me could kill any process let alone getting the help menu up for the top which should normally work.

Running busybox-power 1.19.2power1.

I guess an alternative would be to use htop instead of top.

ok figured out wots what.
Install procps 1:3.2.7-11maemo1+0m5 and you will have a "proper" top and other utils....
