Hi Just bought a N770 and have the following issues

1 set up connection with my Sony Erisscon W850i N770 connects begins to dial then states network error ?

2 I went to the Maemo webiste and downloaded some applications - only 1 kb downloads and when i double click on the application, the application manager starts but a dialogue box appears stating ! not found

3 Where can software be obtained for the N770

Having this problem too after a reflash to the latest FW

For example: the Click t install link here: http://maemo.org/downloads/product/leafpad/
(in tha case app manager loads and then nothing...)

and/or the link to the 770 version posted in the comments on that page:
http://repository.maemo.org/extras/d...eafpad.install

Anyone else seen this?

I think this is a browser problem. This happens too on a PC on some download sites.

DONT install through a browser, do it from the repository. Look at the WIKI for this website (not maemos) on how to use repositories.

Would this help? It seems using repositories it always a better way to install, unless these is no repository.

The click to install like just has info on a repository. can you add the repos. manually, and then install through the app. manager?
