Hi,

This is a quick and ugly port.

Problems:


Also sound output is quite bad. (Ok, setting alsa times lower and multithread and map mode makes it passable. Barely)
I think we need mpg123(or is it 321 plugin) built. I enabled GConf support.

You will probably need libvorbis libraries installed too. You need to change the output in settings.

Not to belittle your work Q12, but what does this player do or what features does it have differently from XMMS? In the screen shot - it looks almost exactly like XMMS.

Not much work there

Basically, when xmms development stopped, continuation and forks occured. (xmms2 (which was ported by ukki, but I think I should compile more frontends ), audacious, bmp (this one) and bmpx (the next version of bmp).

But the major difference to me imho is that it uses gtk 2 rather than 1.2 as xmms1 does. This doesn't work great anyway unlike xmms1.
