Hi to all, i have a huge problem. I have 10 days now the device and today i have updated the firmware from the original one to the last one (53.1 i think). The battery had 2 hours until to be ended (in use), so it wasn't full load as Nokia recommended. Anyway, everything went perfect and although i lost my previous data, bookmarks, etc, i booted well. I used the device about an hour, then i put it to charge let it booted up and not shut it down. When completed i put it out of the plug and closed it. That was it! NOW IT DOESN'T BOOT!!!! Any idea? Please help me...

Did you try to reflash it using the Nokia Internet Tablet Software Update Wizard?

Yes it worked until the device never worked again even with the charger plugged in. Just to notice here i have the American charger and in order to make it work (here in Greece) i put in a European adapter. The strange thing is that this adapter while charging or after finishing the charge is VERY HOT...

No my friend: no light no nothing - the device is totally dead.
Any way i sent it to Nokia here in Greece in order to check it and as i have been told if it has a serious problem (i think it is!) and cannot been fixed here they will send it in Finland. I will inform you about the resolution - thank you all for the replies!

Mine has same issue. Not sure why, but it won't power on sometimes. I found if I flip the lock-unlock switch back and forth a few times, then press the power button at random intervals, it finally will come on. I think it's an internal flaw on the 810. I heard some even put it in the freezer for a while to get it to finally boot up.

It appears dead, but apparently, it's not. I don't know what causes it to do this. It is very frustrating.
