This feels crazy, but I'm really having a problem with RTCOMM.

I have been experimenting with RTCOMM and SIP services. I have hooked up with some SIP services -- for example, Free World Dialup. Then I decided to take the plunge and configure my N800 to boot from the internal SD card so I could run KDE. The process worked fine (thanks to all the folks who put together the distro and the instructions!), but now the SIP client will not connect.

When I boot from flash, the SIP client connects to FWD. When I boot from the SD card, it does not.

I have completely removed RTCOMM and reinstalled -- twice. No help there! I have not tried other services yet, but since the N800 connects when booting from flash...I didn't see the need to try that.

Has anyone else seen this? Any clues on workaround? Even a way to get at a log of messages would help!

Thanks.
