Moving from OS2006 on 770 to OS2007 on N800 is quite an experience (speaking of software, not hardware) : everything is faster, nicer, more polished... and, then, once in a while, there is the odd detail.

I'm all for a browser that launches faster, dies less often, doesn't slow down as much on AJAX sites, etc. But I did prefer the browser toolbar in the previous version, especially the Home icon for direct access (I keep my bookmarks as links on my home page, is why). Now it's two taps from the leftmost icon.

I don't suppose there's any way to get that back ?...

And yes, I used my usual advice and searched the old posts from January on, but keywords such as "home icon toolbar browser" are totally hopeless : needle in a haysack :-)
