I just flashed to OS2008 and the keyboard went to white. I just got my N800 and when I ran OS2007 for those 30 minutes, the keyboard was black.

Is there a way to make that change back? The themes and stuff don't seem to change it. The threads I searched were mostly about BT keyboards.

Thanks!

Larry

On final release (or latest betas... ) you have more themes. Some themes have black keyboard.

The color changes depending on the theme so there is no chanche (actually) to change the color. Hopefully the Theme Maker done by Knottori will be supported in OS2008 so that someone will produce different themes like in early versions of OS2007

The on screen kb is themed. So, themes affect how it looks.

Wow...people respond so quickly on this forum. Looks like I'll wait for the official release of OS2008 for the N800 now =)

well, you can theme them yourself pretty easily as well. Just open the /usr/share/themes/themeX/images or something like that. Copy the keyboard images, Invert the colors, open /usr/share/themes/gtkrc/gtkrc, change the keyboard color. Then change to that theme.
